Blessings :)

This is where I got to go the day before my birthday: Spider Lake. I've wanted to go on this hike for years but the trail is steep and I worried my knee (or plural) would give out on the way down. I took my cane in case something might happen and took the leap of faith and just did it. The view above was one of the many rewards I got. The lake is long and afforded many gorgeous scenes like the picture above and we only made it maybe one third of the way around one side.

Another trip to Spider Lake is warranted with proper preparation for a longer hike/stay, maybe even a multiple day camping trip. JUST AMAZING.

And I got to share it with my two younger children who were just as captivated by the area as I was :)

So many blessings I have. So many blessings I can count. I just forgot for a minute.

But I'm back on track now :)
