Question of the Week #111

Being members in the Physically Challenged Artist Support Group we obviously face physical challenges on a daily basis. There are also mental and spiritual challenges associated with our physical issues and sometimes it all can be overwhelming, exhausting and oh so daunting to keep pushing forward all the time. These physical, mental and even spiritual challenges are something we deal with on a daily basis but we always never give up :) maybe we'll take a rest or a break here and there but sooner or later we get back into it and we always keep trying. I am grateful to know all of you wonderful women and men that are in PCASG and I really feel blessed to be a part of this group.

It is Monday and I'm moving stiff and slow but I'm moving! My biggest challenge today is an appointment with my doctor in Olympia (50 miles away--one way). It is not going to be a nice visit. Last week I had to go to the ER for my big toe (dropped yet another can on it, LOL if some of you remember my previous cases of "dropsy") and I developed an infection and part of the toenail had to be removed too. I've been on bedrest since the ER visit per doc's orders and this is a diabetes/wellness check AND toe assessment. It always has to be my previously badly broken big toe too...note to self: stop leading with the left...

Once I get on the road (I'm not driving) I should be OK at least through the appointment. It's the trip back that is usually where I start fading. I think I should be doing better than this considering the time of year (usually my best time) but well.... mornings are rough sometimes and Monday mornings are usually even harder for me to kick start and today is proving no exception :)

Later on this week I have some other challenges (physical and mental) but right now I'm taking it cup by cup (coffee is such a good thing) and one little bit at a time, resting before we hit the road.

So the question this week is what is the most difficult physical, mental, spiritual or creative challenge or goal/task you are facing today or this week?

OK...Looking forward to hearing your answers!

Please remember to submit your suggestions and questions to: spdychevy@gmail.com with Question in the subject line and we'll get your question up here soon!

Happy Monday to all :)
