DID NOT get the mail box painted. DID get some coasters started :)
Here is what they looked like before they went in the oven...
As for these hearts, they are going to be gone over with black tribal designs after being baked & then fired again. I love these, I don't know really what I'm going to do with them once I'm done but (maybe a gift to someone) I really enjoy fooling around with these coaster ideas :)

I can sit almost anywhere to make them, which makes them good projects for my bad days and they are pretty inexpensive to make since I've got most of the materials on hand. And yes, today is a bad day. A full vic this morning with my coffee day. I'm still waiting for my body to relax a little as I'm feeling tightly bound. Yes, I meant "bound" as in bounded by iron bands effen ouch but ouch hurts to much to say... Tightly wound would indicate alertness or over-alertness and that is not me today.
The lake is foggy this morning but it makes it look almost magical so I look out there from time to time to see the landscape and let my brain drift and daydream a little. Just got done reading "The Historian" and been watching major marathons of "Being Human" and "Once Upon a Time" so my brain is liking the all the fantasy and softening my rock solid death grip on reality and playing the what-if game, which means I'm going to be more creative and being more creative for me means being more happy and content. Which means (gasp) a major writing project is coming up and I'm looking forward to it.
Other chores: Hair cut today after I wash it and let it dry (groan) and then cut it and THEN wash it again (double groan). That and paint the mailbox, lmao. Going to do it today, I am!!! Here's a pic of one I did for a friend quite awhile ago:
Yep. And guess where I saw it? At frikking Habitat. Turns out, he sold his house and forgot about the mailbox, then when he went to go get it, found out they'd replaced it and thought "that was that". So, he sold his house about 9 months ago (I didn't know). I called him after I saw this, told him about it and that's when I found out he'd sold the house and he went down to get it at Habitat but it was already gone. I should've just called him the second I saw it, I guess. I thought it turned out "OK" but I never really was a fan of this one, but I guess someone else (besides my buddy) did, lol.
Now he asked me (very nicely) if I would make him another one. (Talk about guilt pangs concerning my own I have not even started!!!) He is bringing me a mail box and he asked for a dragon or a horse or a fairy but a manly fairy. Yeah...think I'm gonna be looking at dragon or horse, lmao.
OK, just had all my internet, computer etc accidentally shut down and took me almost 30 minutes to get everything back up & running...thus ends my time for today for this. Gotta go for now...Happy Monday :)
