Took off down to the beach to go pay bills and get some sand n surf time.

(click on pics for larger images. Sorry this long one is so skinny but it's the best part of the pic, lol. Pics today are courtesy of Craig Walters)

Went down Washaway and then since nothing major was shaking there--- 'cept this lovely commode pic down by where the bathrooms used to be just off Warrenton Cannery Road, oh the irony :).

we headed for the groynes (surfer's beach) at Westport. Plenty of surfboards & wet suits today but none were wet, nobody was in the water. It was gorgeous but cold! So nice to feel the air at the shore. It was too cold to sit on a log and ponder but was nice enough for a 20 minute stroll at the groynes (surfer's beach)

Old ship part, how cool, I love it when we find one :) Yes, you find a lot of old ship parts at the beach. Many are like this, way too big to remove without a trailer & other semi-heavy equipment and then what the heck would you do with it when you got it home? This, if I could have taken it would have been a beautiful outdoor bench and maybe later on, a custom bar in "the pit" when we get it done. I love the subtle curve of this piece...sigh. Seems sad nobody does any thing with them...except sometimes they make a bonfire :( (where's the grumpy frown icon?) and it really isn't against the law but somehow it *seems* like a crime.

Mountains to Sea...LOVE IT!
NOW...off for my nap! Sweet dreams y'all...
