Good morning all, at least I'm determined it's going to be a good morning. Working on it anyway, lol.

So the new diabetes meds combo (glipizide with half my previous dose of metformin) are kicking my blood sugars down within in target range. The numbers look beautiful. The only problem is that my body has been running above that for so long that it's treating these beautiful in-target numbers as a low blood sugar episodes. And...those suck. Oh. My. YES. So, got to work out the kinks but it's working! (Yay!). Added bonus: that nasty nagging pain on the mid-lower-right side of my back (roughly "the kidney area") has subsided as well. For now. I'm enjoying it for now. Hopefully it will be an ongoing absence of pain in that area...(if I'm going to dream, I'm going to dream big!). It's very nice right now and that's what I'm going with :)

Been moving really stiff since Sunday afternoon when I realized when the locksmith pulled out the hatchback lock (to make a key for all the car doors) that he bent the wire and now the hatchback has to be manually pulled from the inside. Like, yes, put the back seat down, climb in and pull the wire to pop the latch. I tried putting it back in but he bent it beyond fixing. So, he basically just put the wire back in so it will unlock once and pops out. This guy bitched the whole time about how it was a good thing he quoted me $45 bucks on the phone (for less than an hour of work if he wasn't screwing around doing other crap) or he would've charged me more...blah, blah, blah. Then after all this, I find out the shithead BROKE my latch. I spent over two hours working on it to make sure it couldn't be fixed. So, my hatchback can't be unlatched unless someone climbs in and opens it like I described before. I initially was so  p.o.ed that I wanted to charge him $90 (plus tax) for my two hours of work (and he's getting a major deal) AND whatever it's going to cost to have the hatchback latch fixed or a front latch put in. And scream at him while presenting the bill. What. An. ASS.
And of course, the more I worked on the latch, the more angry I got every time I'd get it put back together and turn the key and have the wire pop out. I worked way past my stamina level, strained my neck and back from the awkward position I had to been in working on the thing and kept on. Been paying for it since then. I know better than to push my back and neck, I just couldn't have told you the stiff/sore/ouch was going to be still going on by today still...so, gonna take awhile until those muscles are rested up again and lots of things are on hold until then.

My son is gone until Friday or Saturday, my brother got another "trash out" and his season is picking up so the boy will be working more and more (yay!) as the weather continues to become milder. He's been gone since Saturday afternoon. It's been just Berty & I since Monday evening. Pretty quiet, lol.

I drove to Oly by myself on Monday and took c10 back to Sissy's so technically I don't have to do anything for the rest of the week, that was quite the feat :) While I was up there I found out my card was cancelled (bank mistake effen idiots) and I won't have access to any of my funds until I receive the one they are mailing to me: "in 3-5 business days, Friday by the latest, and call us the next day if it doesn't arrive." Well, are you open on Saturday? "No, that's not a business day, so call us on Monday afternoon." GGGGGRRRRR....insert stupid meaningless and ineffectual swear words here. So, really no reason whatsoever to stress myself for the rest of the week and many reasons to take it easy and not stress.

BUT...if I'm feeling up to it I will, lol. I always will. I know I need to "relax" and rest more but I'm still learning and it's a hell of a lot harder than people might think. Sometimes I get impatient and want to get stuff done and can't wait any longer and I push myself more than I should and result is a longer setback. I know better but still, "push n crash" is the one of the biggest problems many fibro sufferers have. I'm no different in that respect, lol.

Speaking of push n crash, I had to talk to Bert last night about my low blood sugar level reactions. Like what she needs to do in case she can't wake me up. I told her my medicine is working just like it's supposed to but my body isn't used to what the normal levels are. So, it should be ok, I should be ok, the medicine says my levels are fine but my body is acting a little strange but it shouldn't be a problem and it's JUST IN CASE. I tried to stress that it's just in case, and she just needed to know if it was an emergency what to do. Still scared the crap out of her :( I'm going to make a binder with what needs to be done and what numbers to call etc (med lists, etc) for "in case of Emergency" and I think that will help her not be so scared and feel so overwhelmed. In fact, I should go do that right now, now that I'm thinking about it. Yep...ok...gonna go do that...Happy Wednesday :)
