Bookmarked some sites this week that I wanted to check out in depth today and this is going to be a short post but at least I found some fun stuff look at.
First off, something on facebook caught my eye, it's a competition from Patron using (what else) Patron bottles. It's actually called "The Art of Patron". I might do this. I have until April 30th to enter but we'll see. Pretty much all the easy ideas were taken already, lol.
Patron home page here you will have to register/sign up for the site (it's free) to even view the creative bottle uses and the competition guidelines and rules.

Next I went over to Water Marquee for free watermarking software so I can upload my photos to the Mountains to Sea weebly site photo gallery and not worry about "snatchers". I've got some good ones and it's happened more than a couple times I find someone has taken my pics and claimed them as their own, so sorry to have to watermark my photos like that, but just a few people ruin it for everybody :( This is going to take awhile before I get them all done and up but it is easy, I've just got a large back log of photos to be done.
After that I went over to allrecipes.com to look for a salt dough ornament recipe and then surfed for information on "waterproofing" them. Not much encouragement on the waterproof part. I've been thinking about this project for garden stakes, making a copper stake with a hook and adding salt dough tags for the labels but I don't think I can waterproof the labels to the point of being able to use them outside. Still working on the idea though, so we'll see...here is a blank tag idea at etsy: (listing link here)

and the stakes would be just plain copper stakes with a little hook on the end for hanging these tags.
OK, that's all I have for now, I had a link for beaded tights that I had saved but when I went back it said the website was no longer available so eh? Not going to sweat it at this point.
Now I must go as it sounds as there is somebody at my front door.
