Sunday Morning Craftiness
My oldest daughter (C10) joined my Mom and I for "Sunday Morning Craftiness" and coffee at Mom's today and we didn't get a lot of crafting done but we had a good visit with a lot of laughs and got a little progress made on our different projects. Sometimes it's hard getting up so early on a Sunday (5 a.m.) but it is worth it once we get there.
C10 is still deciding what her first project is going to be so she sorted some beads and such and I needed to do some inventory and Mom made some progress on her latest project (a baby quilt for my new great nephew). I'll get a picture of it next Sunday, it's almost done though and it is A-freaking-dorable :)
My son came to pick us up and joined us for a cup of coffee and it's always enjoyed best sitting on the deck in the squishy chairs overlooking the lake (always a very nice way to spend some time) so we got a late start to the rest of the day but that's ok, Sundays spent like that are pretty dang good :)
Spending time with Mom and the kids like that has me missing my granny a lot this morning so it's time to go see if I'll be allowed back in the old folk's home to visit (sadly, not joking) again soon. In the meantime I'm making her casserole for our Sunday "sit down" dinner and the kids are excited about it :)

For now though I think a quick nap is in order after our early morning crafty session...
